How do you print your invitations?
Most Laura K invitations and cards are printed on an offset printing press with Pantone colours. We choose to use this printing method because of its high quality and colour consistency: many of the designs created by Laura K use full colour coverage, and offset printing produces the best results. In addition, many of the colours used can only be achieved with the Pantone matching system.

I’m looking for a custom design – how much does this cost?
This really depends on many factors like quantity and paper etc…however I would say to budget a minimum of $1200 for the invitations. Additional stationery such as maps, menus, personalized place cards etc are extra. My average cost for a complete custom stationery package is $3000-$5000.

Can I set up a consultation?
Yes, please get in touch to discuss your wedding in greater detail. I like to have a phone call before meeting to make sure that your style and budget is aligned with what we offer before setting up a consultation.

How long does the process take?
This really depends on you and your needs. If you are in a rush you can have them within 2 weeks, however typically it is a 3-4 week minimum for an order. Custom invitations take time and it is best not to rush. We recommend ordering them at least 4-6 months before your wedding.

How do we get started?
To get started a 50% deposit is required as well as a signed contract for the items you are ordering. The balance will be due when your invitations are shipped or picked up. Current accepted payment methods are email transfer and cheque.

How does the process work for ordering CUSTOM Invitations?
I like to get to know each couple and the style of wedding they are having before any designing begins. At the first meeting we will discuss colours, styles, themes and locations as well as what stationery items you would like. If you have them, please bring any style boards, magazines or photos that reflect the style you like. Keep in mind that no other designers’ work will be duplicated – this is for inspiration only.
